Hello Lovelies,
just popping by today to share some blanket progress.
I think it's always fun to see a project as it develops and I hope you do too :0)
Now I have my hands on new stocks of yarn I can continue joining those circles.
This is the fun part.
It's great to finally see my blanket appearing.........
I'm not using every colour I used for the centre circles in the final "join as you go" round.
I guess I'm just trying to calm the design down a little bit, but still give the impression of total randomness.
So there's no white.... Saffron, Lemon or Fondant in the last round ( they are the two yellows and the bright pink).........
I've joined two thirds of the blanket so far......144 circles.
This is not all of them, but I'm loving seeing the squares en masse..........
I keep standing back and squinting at the colours......it's busy, but .....yes, I think it's looking good :0)

It's busy in a good way! :)) I really like it! That last photo would make a great card or even used as a screen saver. I like your plan when using lots of colors, making a selective reduction in the final round, I will definitely remember that for the next one. I'm currently working on a small Christmas throw in red and white, for some festive color, a ripple in the round. Have a great day! x
ReplyDeleteJacquie, Christmas preparations are keeping me busy, but I wanted to let you know how much I have enjoyed your recent posts.
