Glad to see the robin made it safely through also. A lovely hot water bottle cover! Something that seems to be getting hard to come by here these days. Nothing like baking on a snowy day. All the trees and spring flowers are in bloom here after a warm February, just in time for a March freeze. Brrr I'm ready for spring!Angelahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13069413208192422413noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8247444515135484880.post-41069215876363667542018-03-07T11:40:40.119+00:002018-03-07T11:40:40.119+00:00Brrr... we've had a cold spell too...only snow...Brrr... we've had a cold spell too...only snow fluries though. I made sure there was suet in the feeder for the Wrens. We have a ton of them this year. They have a hard time in the winter and I love helping them. Your little robin looked so bedraggled in the first photo; much better in the second. I'm so happy you were able to give him food. I often wonder how the poor tiny things survive the harsh cold. But they do.Dinahsoarhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03877872564454797447noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8247444515135484880.post-32783743440249427322018-03-05T12:31:27.116+00:002018-03-05T12:31:27.116+00:00We were very fortunate here that the Beast didn...We were very fortunate here that the Beast didn't touch us. We got occasional snow flurries, but nothing more. The wind was bitter cold though, very cold. we too were wearing layers even with heating on! Beautiful photos and your hot water bottle cover is gorgeous! I used to knit them and I do well remember the days when the only heating in the house was the stove and the coal fire in the lounge!! xJanehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18114112351660401224noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8247444515135484880.post-67600541463927113022018-03-05T10:41:03.368+00:002018-03-05T10:41:03.368+00:00The snow world has an amazing look, accept for Rob...The snow world has an amazing look, accept for Robin.
