Progress

Hello lovelies,
Just popping in after a long day at work to share some promised progress shots. My blooming flower cushion grew a lot on Tuesday.
By lunch time it looked like this.........

And by late afternoon I had added more rows ...........

As you can see I'm going for  more subdued  colours than my latest makes , using colours similar to those I chose for my much loved square throw.

I've also started another Giant granny using the same colours......

I know I have my Kaleidoscope blanket in progress but I was seduced by the pleasure I got from making this  giant granny that I gave to my Mum . So quick and easy to do when you are too tired to count stitches or follow a pattern.
I'm hoping these projects have a vintage feel and that they will add a cozy touch to my lounge this Autumn. I love to snuggle under a crochet blanket when the weather turns chilly :0)

Hope you are managing to squeeze some craft into your week.

  7. I'm loving the colours you have chosen for both projects... I always like to have a simple project on the go; even if you are tired it is easy to do a bit and before you know it you have a new blanket or cushion!

  18. The flower cushion is looking fab. I've been thinking about doing that one too - its on my long list of things to get round to making!!
I know what you mean about having a project you can work on without thinking too much - I always try to have one of them on the go. Excellent for when you are tired or watching something on TV that needs a bit of concentration (because obviously you couldn't do nothing whilst watching tv - oh no - that would be wasting valuble crafting time!)

  20. Do you mind me asking where the beach was in Cornwall, it reminds me of one we used to go to near Padstow when the children were small but I can't remember the name of it and I would love to go to that one. I love the cushion, would love to make one but have too much on the go at the moment and im not so quick as you, in fact im decidedly slow!!!

  23. I am a bit embarrassed as I have found my "The seeds have arrived thank you so much" email in my drafts. So I'm popping a message here as then I can see that it has got to where it needs to go.

Thank you hugely! I so hope I have a little piece of Bunny Mummy World in my garden next year. It'll be really exciting to see what springs up.

Thank you again, by the way, loved the little packets they came in.
