Hello Lovelies,
yesterday it was dull and showery, proper April weather. It rained heavily in the early evening and then, as I was making a cup of tea at 7.30pm I noticed the light levels increase..........I looked outside, saw the sun, left my tea and grabbed my camera.
At the bottom of our garden the neighbours Magnolia tree was bathed in golden light...........
I dashed up the road looking for the setting sun.......it was already disappearing behind the houses near the allotments......
I dodged big puddles which reflected the beautiful colours of the evening sky........
And snapped the setting sun just before my camera battery battery died........

Your posts are so much fun to see.
ReplyDeleteThank you for the dropped scone recipe, and the view of the feet of a coot. Where else could I have access to such info? No where that I know.
The photos in this post are lovely.
Our NYC springtime is so far behind what you've been showing us. Maybe by this weekend some more blooms will appear. Over here, my pals and I wonder if we are going to have a "instant" spring blooming season that comes and goes before we can actually appreciate its beauty.
I consider myself lucky to have this weekend off. I will be heading over to Central Park to see what is what.

How beautiful - I particularly love your last pic, and aren't the magnolia flowers magnificent! Joy xo
