Hello Lovelies ,
The top happy thing for me this week has been saying good bye to February and welcoming March with open arms.
March means SPRING and that is certainly something to smile about.
So here are this weeks little joys.
1.Catkins......such a welcome sight each year ..........
3. Sunshine and still weather at the weekend.......love the reflections in the lake..........
4. My latest bunch of Daffodils .....can't get enough of these simple beauties who mean spring is in the air.....
In fact I'm feeling a bit poetic today so I'll leave you with a little bit of Wordsworth, found in one of my childhood poetry books........
A CHANGE IN THE YEAR
It is the first mild day of March:
Each minute sweeter than before,
The redbreast sings from the tall larch
That stands beside our door.
There is a blessing in the air,
Which seems a sense of joy to yeild
To the bare trees, and mountains bare,
And grass in the green field.
William Wordsworth
Hope you have many happy moments this week.

Lovely to see your blue skies. Thank you for those images of Spring. I have been so inspired by your beautiful work. Our Grandson is coming to visit and I have made him some hexagonal balls and a cute cat .... All inspired by you .

ReplyDeleteNow I'm wondering if you could rustle up a little painting of that canal scene - I think your little bluebird motif will sit quite nicely in one of the trees! Happy March x Jane

I have 2 calendars and neither can disappoint - one is with dogs and the other with drawings by Marjolain Bastin.
ReplyDeleteThe spring can be felt in all your images. We are still in the mid of winter - snowstorms and -11C today. Sigh...
Hi, Love the picture of the boats, it's a chocolate box perfect picture!! March seems to be a happy month for everyone, Spring's in the air in the north and down her in the south, it should start cooling down a bit, although there's not really been a difference yet!!!
ReplyDeleteHave a lovely week!!!
Love
AMarie
