Hello Lovelies,
Are you wondering why there are 2 soft toys in this picture? No I didn't make them . I was just having a bit of fun depicting a famous March saying , can you guess it ? ( answer at the bottom of this post )
My main reason for popping in today is to say thank you all for the great comments on my Russian doll project .
You lot really are sweet and there's still time to put your name in the hat HERE if you fancy winning one of my little felt needle cases....
I'm so glad it's March and today I was determined to get a picture of some lambs, such a wonderful spring sight.....First I stopped the car after spotting these "sheep".........
Sorry, Geese ! well I was driving .....
Finally I got the right animal...so cute ...
I also spotted some fab spring flowers whilst in town...........
Yay Spring , I love ,love, love it .

( answer to saying..........."When March comes in like a lion it goes out like a lamb ",well... it was pretty cold and grey here yesterday so hopefully that means we will have good weather at the end of the month, when spring really gets going :0) )
Love your geese/sheep!

Hi Jacquie! Thank you for lovely, beautiful, spring photos!!! We have still cold and I think spring comes next month. Have a lovely sunny time! Teje
ReplyDeleteI love the quote with the lamb & lion. Got me thinking & I still didn't get it as I got hooked on the daffodils. Lovely pics. Jacs x
ReplyDeleteahhhh i haven't seen any lambs yet but then i have not been into the country yet, loved your picture ;-) It really is cold again at the moment so i hope your right and it will get warmer soon ;-)) Enjoy the rest of your week, dee x
ReplyDeleteHey Jacquie, I've never heard that saying before and I certainly wouldn't want to try shearing the 'sheep' in the top pic, hehehe.......
ReplyDeleteYour Daffs look lovely with he blue and white jar cover, lovely colour combos. Such a beautiful time of year over there, I think I am going to be a little envious looking at everyone's Spring pics...........
Beautiful morning here, nice day for shopping, uggh......

Don't those spring flowers look so lovely and bright... so pretty! We had the most gorgeous day here today - chilly but so sunny, not a cloud in the sky, was just perfect. Am hoping for similar tomorrow as I have to be out most of the day! My fingers are crossed for your giveaway too, Jenny x
ReplyDeleteYou should have been with me yesterday at the stables, there was a tiny, tiny lamb that has been taken in to be bottle fed as her Mum is not interested.
ReplyDeleteShe is no bigger than a cat and I had a lovely cuddle whilst persuading her to have a little milk!!

Jacquie: Love the geese and sheep pics ... so "Spring" :-)
ReplyDeleteSarahB: We are thinking of adding a few sheep - are they difficult to deal with or fairly easy? I really like sheep and would like to do that; but I want to consider all sides ...
Lovely to see your photos of the lambs.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful photos Jacquie :)
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your spring weather and pretty views!
We are enjoying our first days of autumn after a hot, hot summer....
It's funny as soon as we see the sun we don't care that it's still freezing! Love your little lambs, the geese were cute too :o)
ReplyDeletecute sheep, i was just saying to a work mate that there is a lack of lambs this march (but then i do live in birmingham and sheep are generally lacking for this environment!) x

Hi Jacquie
ReplyDeleteThanks for showing these gorgeous flowers!
Did you buy a bunch?
How spring like, fresh and just wonderful!
Hugs Suex
Hi Jacquie,
ReplyDeleteI love your "in like a lion and out like a lamb". I remember making paper lions and lambs in school when I was very young. The lambs never showed up at the end of March though (real ones or nice weather!). Thanks for sharing, love the flowers in town.
Susan
Love those flowers!

Great Gsheeps Jacquie!
ReplyDeleteI don't think any of us Mum's would struggle to find a sheep or a lion in our toyboxes would we...so cute!
I'd almost forgot you had asked about the hearts on my garland....most of them are Ikea or B&Q christmas decs but I made the brown paper heart with gold glitter. I hang them, together with crochet snowflakes, in the dining room bay window at christmas too. Have a lovely weekend.

As you can tell I'm catching up on your lovely posts... how funny that you mistook geese for sheep, hahaha! Just the sort of thing I would do! Lovely photos, makes me feel spring might be just around the corner... xx
ReplyDeleteSo good to see green...we are melting here thank goodness. Love the lambs.
ReplyDeleteWhere did you find the pansy pattern? It is so happy looking. I bet it would make a wonderful granny square!
