Today I'm Loving.....
:: Finishing work at five thirty and walking out into the warm, sunny evening air knowing I've got a week off to enjoy with the boys :0)
:: Stopping the car at the side of the road on the way home to capture the yellow fields...
So much Rape seed here these days . I think it looks stunning ......
:: Getting home a seeing my yellow and red tulips, purchased quite closed up yesterday, looking gorgeous in my blue and white crochet "Cornish wear" vase.....
:: Finding that after making the evening meal ( simple pasta and garlic bread ) it was still warm enough to take my crochet in to the garden......
It was lovely to escape the action movie the males were enjoying indoors ...and just listen to the birdsong whilst I did a little crochet . I even managed to take the pictures for the first four rounds of the hexagon tutorial......
So lovelies ,the tutorial will be coming sometime . I'm now thinking it will probably be after school returns ( the first week in May ) as all five of us are at home next week and there will too much fun / chaos happening :0)
I'm sure you lovelies will understand ...tutorials seem to take me ages to get right.
Hope your holidays are going well ..... if you are lucky enough to have any .
I'm bushed now , think an early night sounds mighty fine .

Your yarn bag and plant coaster are GOR JASS!
ReplyDeleteI feel the same about tutorials, they take ages because you want to get them right otherwise there'd be blue language and hooks flying about across the blogland and you want it to be clear and easy to follow. It's quite a responsibility! I didn't feel confident after doing my tute till someone got in touch and told me it worked!
I'm so glat coats and clarke gave you the thumbs up, now you can have total confidence you're not breaking any rules.

Looking forward to the tutorial!!
ReplyDeleteMay I take this opportunity to let you know how you and the other ladies on my blog roll have inspired me to create my own and invite you to take a look: http://shabbychicsarah.blogspot.com/
It was late last year that I discovered blogs. I knew they were out there but I didn't really "get" it. Then someone gave me the link a blog as they thought I would appreciate her style. Soon after I joined Blogger and learned how to follow all my favourite blogs.
My list grows by the day and I love to sit with cup of tea to hand to see what my favourite online ladies have been up to. Of course after becoming an avid blog reader it was inevitable that I would want a blog of my own and so "Shabby Chic Sarah" was born.
After feeling a bit ambivalent about the whole blogging thing to begin with I am becoming increasingly obsessed!!
One of the things I enjoy about it is it it makes you stop and think a moment about things in your day that might otherwise go unnoticed as you are constantly looking out for things to share.
Hope you have a lovely Easter....
Kind regards,
Sarah :0)

ReplyDeleteYippee for the hols! I felt just the same when I clocked off on Thursday, just a super walk home in the sunshine anticipating the week ahead!
ReplyDeleteReally looking forward to the hexie tutorial, perhaps that can be a new hooky obsession for me and get me off the crochet bracelets!!
