Half Way There

Hello Lovelies,
it's been rather dull here today. Not the best light for taking good photos but I've taken some of my blanket progress anyway . I'm loving the joining of all those hexagons soooo much. The colour combinations make me smile and I still love this pattern.

This one is a favourite .....

And this one is very pretty .....

I'm loving this one too........

Oh and this one .........

But I think they look best en masse.......

Wooo Hoooo !! and that's not even  half of them ! I've joined sixty in total.
This is going to be one colourful blanket. At times I've thought maybe a little too bright . But on a dull January day this amount of cheerful colour is wonderful to work with and admire :0)

Hope your week is going well .

  3. The thing I love about crochet is that when I look at the individual squares or hexagons I say to myself "hmmm, nice, ....ok, yeah, quite nice" but when they are sewn together like you have done, it is "WOW!! WOW!! That is SO LOVELY". :)

I love your colour combinations. I'm almost tempted to start a hex blankie, but I have too many on the go already. The crochet waiting list is growing.

    Best Wishes
    Primrose.

  22. Jacquie, your blanket is so pretty. I saw your hex post awhile back and made note of your tutorial. So far my very favorite hex has been the African Flower, but I started one like yours the other day, and am thinking this too will be a favorite. I posted about it in the wee hours of this morning and have linked back to your blog and tutorial. Thank you for sharing this lovely pattern.

  23. Bravo to you, Jacquie. Your constellation of hexagons is a testimony to what fun colors can be. It's really lovely, and I can tell how much fun you've had playing with these individual hexes, finding stimulating partners for them.

I am yet to complete a granny square blanket so I know how much hard work you have put in to this project

  41. I love the blanket and would love to do one - but question - just how do you manage all those ends? I'm a weaver of ends and this project scares me! But, I love it!
