Hello Lovelies,
it's been rather dull here today. Not the best light for taking good photos but I've taken some of my blanket progress anyway . I'm loving the joining of all those hexagons soooo much. The colour combinations make me smile and I still love this pattern.
This one is a favourite .....
And this one is very pretty .....
I'm loving this one too........
Oh and this one .........
But I think they look best en masse.......
Wooo Hoooo !! and that's not even half of them ! I've joined sixty in total.
This is going to be one colourful blanket. At times I've thought maybe a little too bright . But on a dull January day this amount of cheerful colour is wonderful to work with and admire :0)
Hope your week is going well .
Jacquie x
Wow thats gorgeous :)
ReplyDeleteBTW I think that last pic would make wonderful computer wallpaper :)
Wonderful x
ReplyDeleteIt's looking great so far. It's difficult to choose a favourite isn't it? Sue
ReplyDeleteThe thing I love about crochet is that when I look at the individual squares or hexagons I say to myself "hmmm, nice, ....ok, yeah, quite nice" but when they are sewn together like you have done, it is "WOW!! WOW!! That is SO LOVELY". :)
ReplyDeleteI love your colour combinations. I'm almost tempted to start a hex blankie, but I have too many on the go already. The crochet waiting list is growing.
Best Wishes
Primrose.

ReplyDeleteI wanted to let you know that my mom made a blanket using your motif, and I just posted it in my blog in case you want to check it out. http://arteenhilo.blogspot.com/2012/01/blanket-flowers-and-stars.html
Thank you so much for sharing the pattern. My mom loved it, and so did I. And your blanket is looking so amazing. Looking forward to seeing it in its full splendor.

wow this is amazing, I just love all the different colours together.
ReplyDeleteI am yet to complete a granny square blanket so I know how much hard work you have put in to this project
I love the blanket and would love to do one - but question - just how do you manage all those ends? I'm a weaver of ends and this project scares me! But, I love it!
