Making me smile today........... Finding a little bag similar to my multicoloured bag( Originally seen in this post) in the same charity shop that I found the larger one ...
I love these bags and use the big one to take my packed lunch to work...It's had so many compliments :0)
Finding some balls of Rowan Hanknit cotton in the same CS......
Only 75pence a ball ,this will be added to my Cotton yarn stash :0)
Some warm sunshine and blue sky on the way home, making the cottages and snowdrops look extra lovely..........
Back home my tete a tete beginning to flower ............
The sweet jug they are in was last weeks CS star find....
It's Woods Wear and has a crack but it only cost a pound and it's perfect for my little pot of bulbs .
Noticing that this months Country Living Has some Multicoloured bags similar to mine on the cover ..........
I'm lucky enough to have this great magazine delivered as I got a subscription for my Birthday last year. The January and February issues were not too inspiring but this months has lots of spring prettiness......
Oh and some crochet!!..........
Available from Cath Kidston
Definitely lots of Wednesday Happies :0)

Hey Jacquie
ReplyDeleteI too subscribe to Country Living magazine and take great pleasure in hearing it plop through my post box and ensure I open it with a cup of tea and a treat!
I LOVE your lemon coloured Woods wear jug, soo pretty and perfect for spring xox I too noticed the CK crochet waistcoat/cardy and thought Hmmm wonder if there is a pattern out there to replicate something similar! Enjoy the rest of the week xox
Those baskets are gorgeous, especially the one with the blue handles, I love the colours.
ReplyDeleteI've always been fascinated by snake's head fritillaries - I must get some for my garden.
What a great charity shop you visited. I adore those baskets esp the blue one. Over here in NZ we have big square baskets suitable for keeping things in but not those bags. I've always admired the pretty colours of them.
ReplyDeleteLove those bags too. I used to have a pink one but wore it to death. Lovely :)
ReplyDeleteI guess you are a trend bird! :D. I am always behind with everything trendy. Once I discover something it has been in fashion for a looooong time (invisable to me as I don't really follow fashion, read mags or check out trends...). And now you've got it spot on with your lovely multicolored bag! That is kinda cool!
ReplyDeleteI always wanted to subscribe on Country Living but it is crazy pricy to have it delivered to Switzerland so... But now you got me going so maybe I'll treat myself and get this particular issue...
I want a vest like that Cat Kidston vest. Suddenly that looks trendy and fashionable because it has a designer name on it. I am sure it wouldn't be as trendy if I was the one who had made it. Well, at least no one would have photographed it for CL. Ha ha ha! Funny this thing called trend isn't it?
Oooohhh i love love love those bags the big one is my favourite what smashing colours, you lucky lady to find another ;-)) The blues skys and sunshine at the moment makes a huge difference bring it on more i say ;-) enjoy the rest of your week, dee x
ReplyDeleteI practically camp out by my letterbox in the first days of each month, waiting for CL to fall through it!
ReplyDeleteWhat a fabulous day! So springlike! *stamps foot*...I want spring to have sprung please!!!
Wonderful bags! That big one especially is rather snazzy! I bet your lunch tastes far nicer when taken out of there!!
How are the bunnies enjoying the new, sunny weather?
Ruby
What a lovely blog you've got, it's so inspiring! Your colourful shoppingbags are great, I recently bought a straw one that I'm gonna crochet all around to make it just as colourfull as yours.... Love your springflowers too!
ReplyDeleteBlimey you have fantastic charity shops near you, what lovely things you've found!

ReplyDeleteYour bags are so cheerful. I never go into charity shops and I really must, I must, I must!
ReplyDeleteThat's another mark for a country living subscription. I'm looking to subscribe to a good all rounder mag that will draw my attention to a wide range of interesting things.. that interest me :)
Love, love your bags. They remind me of Elmer the Elephant!
ReplyDeleteMy recent CS trawls sadly haven't been quite as fruitful ... roll on car boot sales! :-)
