Hello Lovelies,
Hope you are having a fun Halloween if you celebrate it. We are so lucky around here. There is a great atmosphere with lots of pumpkins in windows and on doorsteps signaling that trick or treaters are most welcome. The boys have a ball and it really feels like a wonderful community event...............
These are our pumpkins carved by Mr BM. He seems to have taken over this role and though the boys helped with the designs the precision cutting is all his :0)
News on the crochet front is..........
I'm onto the border of my baby ripple blanket .....ta-dah coming very soon....yippee !
Have a great week
Jacquie x
p.s.my October Nature Notes post will also be coming later this week .
Hey Jacquie, must be fun seeing all those glowing pumpkin faces at night.
ReplyDeleteYour baby ripple blanket is looking fab.
Someone is certainly going to enjoy snuggling up underneath it.
It's a beautiful, sunny morning here, the weather is warming up. Look forward to your October Nature Notes post.

The blanket is looking so lovely. Thank you for the close-up view of the edging--I've left both of my ripples border-less (whaaat?) because of not being able to keep the edge neat, but now I can see what to do. :)
ReplyDeleteThe blanet is looking lovely Jacquie. Am I right, two rows of singles for the edge?
ReplyDeleteI took a slight brek from my ripple, will start again this weekend and looking forward to it.
I love your pumpkins. Your blanket is coming along beautifully.
ReplyDeleteThose pumpkins are absolutely wonderful! You have selected nice and bright colors for the blanket. I liked the wavy form.
ReplyDeleteYour Jack'o'lanterns look great and your blanket is lovely, too! I love the colours you use!

Your ripple looks great, I can't wait to see the finished item :-) xxx
ReplyDeleteAre you going to post this pattern/tutorial for this blanket?
ReplyDeleteLoving the border! Are you just doing the sides or the top and bottom ripples too? And are those HDC's?
ReplyDeletere: your comment about fringe. I don't like fringe either. When you cuddle up with your afghan, it tickles your face!
