♥ 52 Weeks of Happy ♥ 7/52

Hello Lovelies,
a few sunny days have really lifted my spirits and made me think my wishes for spring to arrive may have worked.
My happy photos , taken this weekend, are so different from those taken in the snow earlier this week.

1. Sunshine and flowers on my kitchen windowsill....... always makes me happy.........

 2. Drying washing on the line , it smelled WONDERFUL when I brought it in yesterday ( look at that sky ! ).....

3. Our little solar fountain in the pond has started working again after months if inactivity.....must mean the light levels are increasing.
Loved the little ripples and reflected blue sky ( the plants are still looking a bit sad but hopefully they will recover).........

4. Visiting the library yesterday and enjoying perusing some interesting books with a piece of Christmas cake  when I got home ( there's only me who likes it ...so it's lasted ages and I think it tastes better as time goes by,  but sadly  there's not much left now)........

 5. Sneaking in an extra thing here. Crocuses in the sunshine this morning....perfect :0)

Thank you all so much for your marvelously encouraging comments on my drawing....they mean more than I can say.

  5. Such lovely signs of spring!! I think I'll have to purchase some daffodils at our market the next time I go. They're still a couple of months away from blooming here but look so pretty in your photo that I don't think I can wait that long!! : ) Have a wonderful week!!

  7. Christmas cake?! My, my, you have done well to make it last so long! I'm the only one that really likes it in our house too - The Bert will eat out of politeness but is not that bothered - but ours only made it a little way into Jan. Either you had a BIG cake, or are more restrained than me ;)

  10. Some gorgeous happy moments there Jacquie. I can't believe you had washing on the line in February. I could never have washing on my line the third month in winter downunder. It's just too damp at that time of the year where I live.

  11. Just gorgeous. Isn't yellow such a cheerful colour. It looks like spring has arrived in your neck of the woods already.
Like **Anne**, It takes days for washing to dry here to. Someone once told me that the area where I live has three seasons : January, February and winter. They do have a point!

  29. Jacquie, it's hard to pick a favorite photo from this uplifting collection...but I must choose that crocus surprise at the end.

Wow...we are once again below freezing over here in NYC, after a quick warming spell last week. The wind gusts are up to 40 miles per hour...and we might be down to 0 degrees F overnight. I wouldn't want any pretty little crocus flowers to be facing those conditions!
