this past week has had sooooooo many happy moments. As you will notice from my photos we have been to the seaside.
We arrived home late last night with a car full of sand and dirty washing. It was an idyllic break, my head is full of sunny days and part of my heart is still on a Cornish beach.
I've just uploaded ( ahem ) over 400 photos!
Don't worry I wont be posting all of them but I would love to record some of my seaside memories here, before they fade away, so I will do a couple of holiday posts when I can grab some time this week.
In the mean time here are four pictures to give you a little flavour of our holidays..........
I'm really behind with my blog reading and looking forward to hearing what you lovelies have been up to.

ReplyDeleteGorgeous photos! I wish I could go away for a week and come home with only 400 photos. We've been away for the last week and I've arrived 500 pictures per day!! I take that many at home too, on long walks and such. I don't keep them all, but it takes me ages to sort through them all and select photos for blog posts! I'll look forward to reading about your holiday.
ReplyDeleteJacquie, this sampling of holiday photos really show us what a marvelous getaway you all have had.
ReplyDeleteWhen you get yourself (and the laundry, etc.) sorted out, please do show us some more of your photographs. You've really captured the beauty of a special place.

Oh they look wonderful! It makes me long for a seaside holiday as well :) But for now I'm perfectly happy to enjoy it through you!
ReplyDeleteLovely pictures! What a perfect year to go to Cornwall too, so beautiful and those blue skies - wow!

What a beautiful sunset photo. I love the way the sea is all choppy in the front. I am now desperately homesick for my little caravan in North Devon. I have spent all the summer getting my house ready to sell and am beginning to go stir crazy away from the sea for so long. Good luck with all the washing - it seems that holiday washing is always about 10 times the amount of normal washing!!
ReplyDeletesuch a lovely break ;0) beautiful photos ;0)
ReplyDeleteWhat a fabulous blue sky! I'm sure you have lots of lovely sunny memories. I've just come back from a weekend at the Festival of Quilts in Birmingham, so I'm a bit dazed today and my head is spinning from all the beautiful textiles we saw. Have a great week
ReplyDeleteOh, how lovely! It sounds like you've had a wonderful week. And that last photo of the sunset is seriously breathtaking. x
ReplyDeleteLove the photos and I don't think anyone would mind all 400. :)
ReplyDeleteYour holiday looks lovely! Love your photo of the sunset! Welcome back.
