My Advent Calendar ♥ 18th December

Hello Lovelies,
Today I bought a real Christmas tree.  It's only a tiny one, but I'm trying to make it feel bigger by surrounding it with even smaller trees and tiny houses :0)

It's rather bare at the moment, but I popped  it in a brightly coloured plant pot and added a ribbon. I also hung a tiny knitted fairy on top.

I may add some more decorations, but then again I think it looks rather sweet as it is.

I plan to plant my little tree in the front garden after Christmas. I hope it thrives and one year is big enough to string with lights.

  3. We bought tiny Christmas trees from one of our local grocery stores when our children were young and planted them outside. Those trees are now huge and our children who are all grown always make comments about the trees around Christmas time. Wonderful way to remember Christmas all year round. Cathy

  4. Well I just love your little Christmas tree. We buy a great big real one, and then I put smaller fake ones all over the house. One of my smaller ones is a tree that has nothing but hand made ornaments from friends on it. I love it. I think your little tree could use a few baubles! It'll feel more Christmassy and loved that way!

  8. Love your little Christmas corner and the knitted angel. If you keep the tree in a pot outside it will grow bigger for each Christmas. x
