Whitby Weekending :: Part 4

Hello Lovelies,
 I will admit I'm struggling with blog posting at the moment. So here's a little Posy gets Cozy type of posting ( with all the words after the photos)  to see how I feel about it.

Runswick bay you were so pretty. With brightly coloured boats and washing flapping in the breeze. Tiny seaside gardens and even tinier lanes. How I loved the tumble of old cottages. The cottage gardens and the Whitewashed walls. How I loved wandering around and discovering lush gardens with the sound of running water and stone steps strewn with fuchsia flowers.
Being up among the red pan-tiled rooftops and gazing at the sea really made me smile.

It's such a shame I took a nasty fall just after I took the last photo. Landed right on my mouth and dislodged one of my front teeth . It was nearly three weeks ago now and my mangled lip is much better....but the root canal work I had to have done today has made my tooth so sore again. I'm feeling a bit sorry for myself at the moment.

But of of course all that was my own silly fault...in too much of a rush and looking for the next photo instead of paying attention to my footing.

Runswick bay you were a delight and I'd love to return one day.

Thank you all for your lovely comments on my previous Whitby posts.
Jacquie x

P.S. If you want to know more of what I'd doing day to day ( including crochet:0)...please check out my Instagram....link in my side bar x )

  3. Whitby is gorgeous, your photos are absolutely lovely. So sorry you fell and are having to have dental work. I did exactly the same thing on Snowdon in the summer - I wasn't looking properly and didn't lift my foot up high enough onto a high stone step. I smashed my chin down onto my camera, and the lens was pile driven into the boulder. The chin took a while to heal but fortunately the camera was fine! Anyway, I do hope you're all better very soon. CJ xx

  5. I like this type of layout, photos then words. Hope you've fully recovered from your fall soon. I did the same thing, but fell on my back onto the corner of a concrete slab.

  8. i'm glad you're on the mend, although the root canal work making everything sore again sucks! Mouths are the worst thing to have pain in! I like this layout, i love looking at all the photos and the words being undisrupted (my love for Posy gets Cozy may have something to do with this) Your Whitby photos are stunning and i'm really looking forward to going to a wedding there next year, I haven't been since I was 10!

  14. Owww! So sorry for your injury. Mouth injuries are always dual injuries. One to the physical body, one to the self esteem because your face looks so sad for awhile. What beautiful pictures you took, though. Want to move there right now.

  16. Sorry to read about your fall, easily done when you are looking for photo's. I fell once while getting my camera out to snap an approaching steam train. Missed the pic but managed to hold onto the camera. Luckily no damage to me, just felt silly. Now I only get the camera out when standing still, and put it away before I set off. Hope your mouth heals ok.
