please read

Hello lovelies ,
I've been reading some more about the plant I mentioned in my latest post ... Hogweed. This is Common Hogweed , but there is also a similar plant Giant Hogweed which is a nasty fella.
Turns out this can cause a nasty rash if you get the sap on your skin so please take care if you decide to take a closer look at these plants. I never pick wild flowers ...except Daisies ..... and now I'm glad I don't .

  1. I've heard you can cook Japanese Hogweed like rhubarb, but I'm sticking to rhubarb!! x

  2. Thanks for letting us know, Jacquie - your pictures are gorgeous, but I'll admire the real thing from a distance!
PS love the bunny's eye view of things!

  3. Thanks, Jacquie. I did know about it causing a rash, and apparently years ago because of the hollow stalk, kids tried to make pea shooters out of it!

  4. Jacquie, I am just getting caught up on blogs, it looks a bit like Queen Anne's ALce to me. By the way I love your dress, the color is fantastic I am sure you will look amazing,

  5. Thanks for sharing...will warn my boy too xx

I always love to hear from you , thank you for taking the time to leave a message.
